Do you have a favorite shirt with a rip?  Jeans that need a decorative or functional fix?  Let's share our ideas and camaraderie at the Mending Club.

This is a free event where we gather to share ideas and do some mending done. The host, Nanci Feeney, will bring plenty of supplies for patching including a selection of fabric, fusible adhesive, a variety of thread, books for reference, and a welcome and encouraging spirit.

Both patterns are available on Ravelry.com. This is the perfect opportunity to knit your first sweater or just fine tune some sweater construction skills. Maybe even get a start on some holiday gift knitting!

Join Nanci in making a simple heart to celebrate February and love in a relaxed and patient environment to learn Sashiko (Japanese Embroidery).

You will learn to basics of Japanese Sashiko embroidery, the french knot, and the running stitch. We should have plenty of time to stitch the bulk of your heart design and get you going to continue on your own.

No embroidery experience necessary, but basic hand stitching experience is helpful!
